up.front is a user group focused on web design & frontend development topics, based in Berlin. Every second Tuesday of the month we meet at co.up, a co-working space in Kreuzberg, where we discuss everything related to webdesign and frontend development. Everyone is welcome to participate, either by attending or holding a talk themselves. We are very much looking forward to your talk proposals, be it a keynote or a 5 minute chat about your latest find on the web.
We are happy to announce our 6th meetup on Tuesday, July 13th 2010 at 7:00pm. The location remains unchanged and is hosted by the co.up co-working space providing chairs and drinks for cheap.
The world cup will be over after sunday, but the web never sleeps! Sorry for this cheesy line, but as you might notice: the next meetup is right ahead of us.
Next tuesday, 13th July at 7pm we will have Sebastian Kippe around whose talk is a bit of the anti-thesis to Alex Feyerke's talk at the may meetup. Sebastian will tell us why he thinks that Alex sees Flash's future a bit too bright and why the new tools around HTML5 will succeed over Flash.
We have also some talk slots free for lightning talks, so if you have found a cool new tool, technology, project or whatever fits into the frontend category of interest: share it with us!
As always the talks are open for discussion afterwards and we are
looking very much forward to it. Please stop by and participate.
You are welcome to spread the word via your favourite channels.
